An open letter to our patients

May 11, 2020

We are excited to announce the reopening of the Little Lights Dentistry office on Wednesday, May 13th.  The Little Lights Dentistry Team will strictly follow the infection control recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our practice will ensure the proper infection control procedures are in place to minimize the opportunity to spread the Coronavirus and protect our patients and staff. Effective immediately, you will see the following changes in our practice:

  • Before your child’s appointment, the Patient Coordinator will call to screen your family regarding possible exposure to the Coronavirus. Upon arrival at our office, you will be asked the same questions, and all visitors will have their temperature taken. Anyone, parent or child, with a temperature over 101.4 degrees will be asked to leave, and have their appointment rescheduled.

  • Parents are asked to wear masks when bringing children to their appointment.

  • The waiting room will no longer offer toys and books for the children since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

  •  Dental and hygiene appointments will be on a staggered schedule to allow for social distancing between patients; please arrive on time.

  • The Dental staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect your child and themselves during the dental appointment.

  •  The waiting room will be limited to one family member at a time, all others will have to wait outside.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about keeping your child safe during their dental visit. Please call our office at 772-223 9781 for more information.

We value your trust and look forward to serving your family.
